CFTC Rule 4.41 – Hypothetical Performance Disclosure

Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profit or losses similar to those shown.

Risks of Futures Trading

• Leverage Risk: Futures are highly leveraged instruments. A small market movement can result in proportionally much larger losses or gains. You may sustain a total loss of initial margin funds and be required to deposit additional funds to maintain your position.
• Market Risk: Markets can be volatile and unpredictable. Prices can gap, causing significant losses beyond stop-loss orders. Trading during periods of low liquidity can result in slippage and unfavorable fills.
• System Risk: Automated trading systems are subject to technology failures, including but not limited to hardware malfunctions, software errors, connectivity issues, and data feed interruptions. These failures can result in missed trades, duplicate orders, or erroneous executions.
• Past Performance: Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. Backtested and hypothetical results do not guarantee future performance. There is no assurance that any trading strategy will produce results similar to those shown.
• Regulatory Risk: Changes in regulations, exchange rules, or margin requirements may adversely affect your trading positions and profitability.
• Webhook & Third-Party Execution Risk: Live trading automation relies on TradingView webhook alerts routed through third-party execution services (e.g. TradersPost). P Squared Trading is not responsible for missed trades, bad fills, delayed executions, connection failures, or any other issues arising from webhook delivery, third-party service outages, broker API errors, or internet connectivity problems. You are solely responsible for ensuring your automation pipeline is configured correctly and functioning as expected.

Backtested Performance Notice

All returns posted on this site are considered Backtested Trading Performance. Backtested trading results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between backtested trading results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program.

One of the limitations of backtested trading results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, backtested trading does not involve financial risk, and no backtested trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading. The ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results.
